I, like many on this site, have fished all over the country and have used many guides. No one works harder than Jim. I recently booked two days in April, 2014 and had a blast. Now, I realize that it's called "fishing" and not "catching" and sometimes you get skunked, but with Jim, if the Tarpon aren't biting or the Bones are "ghosts", then we get busy with 'cuda, or sharks. I know some would not consider these game fish, but they sure put up a nice fight, put some nice runs on the drag, and even do an aerial display. That is usually after Jim works several areas and methods on finding the Big 3. Jim gives you a full day and never looks at his watch. You don't feel like a customer, but a friend that's spending the day on the water. He's always checking the weather, looking at the Lunar tables, knows the tides, and even has a group of fellow guides he consults to make your experience the best it can be. I highly recommend Jim for all your Miami area fishing.
